Mandy Got a Wheelchair!

There are ANGELS on this earth!! In less than 10 minutes after posting the below plea we received a single donation of the remaining amount. My heart is exploding with gratitude. We will be ordering Mandy's chair first thing tomorrow morning!!!! <3 <3 <3 THANK YOU!!!

WE NEED A DOGGIE WHEELCHAIR!!!

Last week we posted a plea asking for knee braces for a senior pup. Our intention of that post was to possibly have braces donated that someone no longer needed. The cost quoted for the braces was $260 and we wanted to avoid that cost. We later learned the cost was $260 for EACH brace! Yikes!! At that time, unfortunately no one had stepped forward wtih any used braces.....so we were stuck. BUT ---Thanks to TWO very generous people....we received TWO seperate donations of $260 to purchase brand new braces for Mandy! We were SO HAPPY to help!!

Today Mandy received bad news that the braces WILL NOT do the trick for her and that she in fact needs a doggy wheelchair. :( We are devastated as we wanted so bad to help Mandy... her mom is a friend and a supporter of FurEver Young.

Mandy's Story...

"Mandy has a tumour on her liver and not long after her diagnosis she unfortunately damaged her ACL in her right knee and couldn't walk on it. A few weeks later she did the same with her left knee 😓. So now she has no use of her back legs. She has to wear a body harness so her owners can hold her back end up so she can move around. This is so very heartbreaking for them.

The vets have suggested that Mandy desperately needs a doggie wheelchair however the cost of one is over $750. This is an expense we cannot make at the moment. We are begging for help."
